Here at the Hand and Shears, we are doing everything to keep you, and our valued staff safe. Looking after our guests and staff is at the forefront of everything we are currently doing. We opened our doors to the public at the height of the pandemic, so have always put and will continue to put Covid-19 safety as part of our very core. With regular cleaning, spacing and monitoring before it was mandatory- we ensure our premises are as safe as possible and continue to go above and beyond the recommendations and legal requirements. The Hand and Shears is a community hub of utmost importance to us and our local patrons. We will continue to play our part in keeping all of us safe. This means, masks for all staff (front and back of house), extra sanitisation of all surfaces (kitchen, bar, bathrooms and public areas) Tableware and crockery are sanitised at 85 degrees after every use. Please note that due to the latest restrictions, and falling in Tier 2, we can only take bookings for tables from the same household/bubble. We will ask you to confirm this at the time of the booking and when you arrive at the Hand and Shears.
